HOW THE BOOK CAME ABOUT!

In 1962, Jack Wyrtzen handed Wayne a booklet written by Dawson Trotman, founder of 'The Navigators' in Colorado Springs, Colorado, entitled, "Born to Reproduce".  Dawson believed that every true Christian was called by God to reproduce Christ in the lives of others and that when an individual accepted Christ, they in turn needed to reach others.  This process would create a phenomenon in the church that would result in millions coming to Christ over a short period of time. 

Over the years Wayne forgot about Trotman's booklet, but never forgot the concept.  As a result he constantly encouraged his parishioners to, not only lead people to Christ but in the process teach them to lead others.   One factor was missing.  HE DID NOT TEACH THEM HOW TO DO IT!.  

Just because an individual has come to know Christ as Savior, does not automatically prepare him/her to lead others to Christ.  In most cases, this must be taught.  Jesus spent the greater part of His earthly ministry teaching His disciples to reach the world and they were, in the power of the Holy Spirit, incredibly successful.

 To fill in the missing factor, God showed Wayne a relatively simple way to teach those you reach, to reach others.  He did it by opening up the Book of Matthew, following the steps Jesus took in training His disciples.  The result were two books , "Learn from the Master" and its companion, "Learn from the Master-Instructor's Manual."  We have designed what we call a, "Soul Winner's Kit" which contains the two books, and all the additional material needed to reach and teach two people.  

After reading the book, and doing fifteen lessons in the instructor's Manual, with some study you will know how to lead someone to Christ, take that someone through five discipleship steps helping them to understand what has happened to them, and prepare them to allow God to do through them for someone else what the Lord has done for them through you.

When you reach and teach just two people (II Timothy 2:2), and encourage them to do the same, you will have potentially  influenced thousands for Christ over a short period of time.

This website is dedicated to you, that you might learn how to share Christ with lost people, lead them through five discipleship steps so that they understand what has happened to them, show them how to reach others for Christ and continue to work with them until they begin reaching other lost people for Christ.  In other words, work with them until they realize that they were 'BORN' to reproduce!
